This Privacy Policy sets out how I ("I", "me", or "my"), the individual developer of the Angevie mobile application ("Angevie" or the "App"), handle information when you use my Service. I operate the App as a private individual and not as a registered company or legal entity. Angevie is designed exclusively for iPhone and is not intended for use on iPad, other tablets, or non-iPhone hardware. The Service is provided at no direct charge to you and is governed by the practices described below.

By installing, launching, or continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information as described herein. I will not sell your personal information or disclose it to third parties except where this Policy expressly authorizes such disclosure or where I am legally required to act otherwise.
Capitalized terms not defined here carry the meanings assigned to them in my Terms of Service, accessible from within Angevie.
Image and face processing for App features does not rely on external AI platforms. All computation takes place solely on systems under my direct control.
Before your photo is sent for AI-driven effects, the App presents a clear consent step. Selecting Agree or Continue indicates that you have reviewed this Policy and authorize handling of your image as described here. If you choose not to consent, that particular AI effect will not proceed.
Scope: The image file(s) you select through the App, which may include depictions of faces and bodies. These materials are analyzed to identify facial feature points (such as eyes, nose, and mouth) strictly to deliver the visual effects you request. I do not maintain a biometric identity database, facial recognition profiles, or templates used for authentication purposes.
Method: You initiate an upload through the in-app workflow; the App transmits the selected file to my servers for processing.
Permitted uses: Processing is limited to producing the specific effect you requested (for example, face-related or style transformations). The data is not used for advertising profiling, identity verification, or unrelated analytics. After the effect is delivered, associated image data is removed and not retained on an ongoing basis.
Processing is carried out solely on my infrastructure. Your photos are not routed to external AI providers, commercial model hosts, or third-party inference platforms for face-related features. I do not license, sell, or otherwise make your facial imagery available to outside parties for their independent use.
After you submit an image, it is received by my servers through the App. Only my systems perform the analysis and generate outputs—without engaging third-party AI services for that step. Results are combined with templates or effects to produce the final render. During processing, files may reside temporarily in encrypted cloud infrastructure (for example, Amazon Web Services) and are purged automatically once compositing is complete.
Facial images and associated processing records are not provided to third-party AI services and are not shared with outside organizations for their own business purposes. They exist only within my controlled environment for the duration necessary to fulfill your request and are deleted promptly thereafter.
Image data is retained only for the minimum time required to complete processing—until the generated result is returned to your device—after which it is deleted without undue delay.
Uploaded images and related metadata may be held temporarily within my secured, encrypted hosting environment (such as AWS), protected by access controls. No external AI vendor receives or retains your images for this feature; storage and computation for face-related effects remain within my operational boundary until deletion upon completion.
Angevie itself does not intentionally set or manage first-party browser cookies. The App may, however, incorporate third-party libraries or SDKs that use cookies or comparable identifiers to support analytics, fraud prevention, or reliability improvements. Those technologies operate under the policies of their respective providers.
You may configure your device or browser to block or restrict cookies. Please note that doing so could impair certain features or cause portions of the Service to behave incorrectly.
I may engage vetted third parties to perform limited tasks on my behalf in support of delivering and maintaining the Service—examples include hosting, cloud storage, infrastructure management, or analytics related to stability and performance. Such providers may access personal information only to the extent required for their assigned function and are expected to protect that information and refrain from using it for unrelated purposes.
I take the protection of information seriously and apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to guard against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Despite these efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed entirely secure. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own discretion and risk.
The Service may reference or link to websites or services operated by others. I do not control those destinations and encourage you to review their privacy statements before interacting with them. I am not responsible for the content, security practices, or data handling of third-party sites, and any dealings with them are solely between you and the relevant operator.
If the App encounters errors, diagnostic information ("Log Data") may be collected through third-party crash reporting or analytics tools. Log Data can include your device IP address, device model, operating system version, App configuration at the time of the incident, timestamps, and related technical metrics useful for troubleshooting.
This information is used solely to monitor performance, diagnose faults, maintain security, and improve stability—not for unrelated profiling or marketing.
Angevie is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If I learn that such information was obtained inadvertently, I will take steps to remove it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child has submitted data through the App may contact me using the details below so I can investigate and respond appropriately.
I may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the Service, my practices, or legal requirements. Revised versions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date unless a different notice period is required by applicable law. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. I recommend reviewing this page from time to time.
